Scout.
What a life. Can you believe this cat was unloved and had no home, no microchip and not neutered. How do you like him now? Don't see the kitten you like. Plenty more to choose from. We have various ages from 3 weeks to 3 mos.
CTFR feeds this site daily. This is a business in Round Rock.
Kitty is enjoying the chairs meant for the customers and black kitty is wondering when that familiar engine sounds comes near. Then she will run to the back and wait for her food. PIctures attached. We have a great volunteer Darren who consistently monitors our feeding sites for action packed pictures.
Pictured is Mighty Mouse, Pepe, Wile and guest of honor Hobbs our buddy. We were very worried that the cats had been runoff by Wiie. However, Darren circled back and caught one of our regulars still there. Recent recon should Wile only showing up once whereas the weeks before he was there every night. Our widely popular Scout. We had over 18 applications for him. Our volunteer Tina went painstainkling through each one. We wound up with 3 and from there made our decision. We decided Scout would be best suited in a home he can get all the attention.
The little boys went through the house putting a big X on the doors to remind them not to open unless they knew where Scout was. Parents enforced this very well. I think its so important that our youth learn how to treat an animal with care and mindful of its needs like a second nature. So what do you think, did we make the right decision. Scout is so happy to be the only pet in this very large home. Way to Go Scout! Looks like Tuckers life is so bright he needs to wear shades.
Tucker was dumped at one of our feeding sites. He saw and then ran to our volunteer Perri and would not take no for an answer. Once determined he was not owned, and no one was looking for him. He became our cat, now he is Landon's cat. For Landon this was a well-thought-out adoption. This teaches our youth how precious a life is. Thank you, Landon and your family, for opening your home and hearts to Tucker. |
