This is Gentry. What a handsome boy. He was seen wandering around at our feeding site. Once we determined he wasn't lost did not have an owner but very friendly. We took him in. Since then he has been vetted and neutered and he is ready for his new home.
He is estimated to be about 2 years as with the Siamese breed he is vocal. He gets along with other cats and ignores dogs. If you are interested: [email protected] This is Gentry . He was found roaming about at one of our feeding sites. He appears to be dumped as he is very friendly and appeared out of nowhere. Since we can't find his owners we had him neutered and microchipped and he is ready for his new home he is estimated to be about 2 years old. Gentry came to the right place to get help by hanging out with our colony cats.
The kittens are emerging all with nice round bellies and a set of lungs. Stay tuned...
Two Moms and 10 kittens rescued from hoarder situation. We still have a lot of work ahead of us. https://www.amplifyatx.org/organizations/central-texas-feline-rescue Central Texas Feline Rescue is very grateful and reverence the support we received during Amplify Austin - Wilco. Together we raised $16,833.48.
The cats won yesterday, and we are so thankful to all! With Much Gratitude, Elizabeth Brumbaugh Founder/CEO Central Texas Feline Rescue https://www.amplifyatx.org/organizat.../central-texas-feline Wiggles had a very difficult 10 (estimated) years on the street. A Good Sam contacted us and asked if we could help this old tom, as he did not have the resources. Taking one look at Wiggles my heart melted.
Shortly after he arrived, he was taking to the vet and while there was also neutered. It turns out he had Notoedric Mange in Cats (Feline Scabies). Little mites were digging in his skin and laying eggs. Imagine the suffering. As you can see by the pictures he is coming along nicely. Wiggles will no longer be on the harsh streets. He will live his best life for the rest of his days. We are so glad he is able to experience the good life and didn't die before we could help him. I am grateful to the Good Sam that cared enough to reach out. What does Amplify Austin mean to us ? It means we can help more cats like Wiggles, continue with our TNR, feeding 130 street cats per day, continue adoptions of kittens and friendly cats. Amplify Austin-Wilco launches tomorrow at 6pm. We are very grateful to our donors that have kept the mission of our rescue going for 20 years. This year is especially important as we want to complete our expansion in Manor. This will allow us to facilitate saving more cats and kittens.
Just recently we rescued 2 moms and 10 babies from a hoarding situation in Pflugerville, rescued Genty a beautiful Siamese boy and a bengal cat named Scout. Not to mention Wiggles the boy with severe mites (scabies). All rescued in last 2 weeks. There is never a lull for us but the funding has to line up with our commitments. Please make this happen for us. You don't have to wait until tomorrow to donate. You can go to now. Thank You! https://www.amplifyatx.org/.../central-texas-feline-rescue |
